Erica Fine has lost a cherished family recipe: the apricot cookies her late grandmother made every year at Hanukkah. When she meets new neighbor Noah Zelman, she is immediately attracted to him. But with a cheating boyfriend in her past, Erica doesn't trust easily.

Noah has been hurt in the past too. But he's eager to help Erica as she searches for her grandmother's favorite recipes. His one request is that he test out the recipes she's found on the internet as Erica experiments with trying to recreate her grandmother's cookies.

The more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. Will they find the treasured recipe? And what happens when their quest is over?
